3 Favorite Songs In No Particular Order
Wonderwall
With over 2 billion streams on Spotify and almost half a billion in the office YouTube music video and by many as
Oasis's best all time song.
If you know any song by Oasis, it's probably Wonderwall. The song is a great intro song
to anyone looking to listening to Oasis.
The song has great guitar playing alongside drumming with lead singer Liam Gallagher
singing about his "wonderwall" who is going to come and save him.
Another one of Oasis's most popular songs with close to 1 billion streams on Spotify and 300 million on the Youtube video,
This song has several different interpretations of the lyrics. My personal Interpretation is the song is about someone named
Sally that singer Noel Gallagher had to leave behind in the past for some reason. With the overall message being that someones
you might lost people or make mistakes in life, but you can't spend all you time looking back in anger, you instead must look
forward in life since you can't change what happened in the past, only how you shape your future.
With a length of 7 and a half minutes this might scare some first time listeners away, but it's good every second of the song.
Similarly to the previous 2 songs on the list, "Champagne Supernova" has large amount of streams with over 410 million on Spotify
and over 125 Million on Youtube. Different than the previous 2 songs on the list, this song has a lot more of a "rock band" feel
when it comes to it instrumentals. In this song Liam Gallagher sings about the effects his abusive father had on him and his brothers
and he it turned them to a dark life of drug and alcohol abuse. He sings about people stuck in this often thinks there is no escape
But there is sometimes a light at the end of the tunnel that can be looked forward to.
